We all know how important communication is in providing medical care to our patients and making them feel more comfortable. This lunch hour workshop will give you an opportunity to learn some simple phrases in Ojibway from our wonderful Elder in Residence, Margaret Lavallee. She will instruct us on some conversational Ojibway, as well as take requests from students about what they’d like to learn. You do not need to have any experience – this is an opportunity to learn something new that can help you build rapport with your patients and create a more welcoming care environment! As per usual, there will be an awesome lunch provided.
