How do I…

Add the calendar to the home screen on my phone?

Android

Launch Chrome for Android and navigate to the Calendar Page. Tap the menu button and tap Add to homescreen. You’ll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.

Apple

Launch the Safari browser on Apple’s iOS and navigate to the Calendar Page. Tap the Share button on the browser’s toolbar — that’s the rectangle with an arrow pointing upward. It’s on the bar at the top of the screen on an iPad, and on the bar at the bottom of the screen on an iPhone or iPod Touch. Tap the Add to Home Screen icon in the Share menu.

You’ll be prompted to name the shortcut before tapping the Add button. The shortcut can be dragged around and placed anywhere, including in app folders — just like a normal app icon. When you tap the icon, it will load the calendar in a normal tab inside the Safari browser app.

Submit a new event?

Navigate to the Submit New Event page and fill out the form to the best of your ability.

Also note the following:

  • If you or your interest group have a log-in for the MMSA website, please use while submitting an event. This will allow you to access event information such as attendees and dietary restrictions in the future.
  • It is not possible for non-administrators to update or change event information once it has been submitted, please ensure that the provided information is accurate
  • Events will not be visible until approved by site administration
  • The approval and maintenance of events is at the discretion of site administration
Submit a Bulletin Board Post?

Navigate to the Bulletin Board, beneath the title you will find the following button:  + New Bulletin Post

Please fill out the form to the best of your ability.

Register a new Interest Group?

Navigate to the Groups page and locate the relevant form. (New Group, Returning Group, Programming and Budget Proposal)

Also note the following:

  • New Interest Groups must be endorsed by a minimum of 20 MMSA members, not including group executives/council members. Please find  the document to collect signatures at the beginning of the New Interest Groups Registration Form
  • Updating Existing Interest groups is not an automated process,
  • Groups will not be visible until approved by site administration
