CFMS Longitudinal Advocacy Training Series (LATS): Reflection Exercise Submission

Description and/or Objectives: Refugees face unique eye care issues, often worsened by obstacles to receiving care. This talk will examine prevalent ocular health problems in displaced groups, systemic barriers to obtaining treatment, and approaches to enhance care. Participants will take part in a case discussion and explore the contributions of healthcare providers, community organizations, and advocacy in fostering equitable eye care.
