Close-Reading Session

TLDR; Med Ethics Book club + Med Writers club teaming up to bring a lit event this Tues May 22nd

Dr. McClure learned close-reading from Dr. Rita Charon, the founder of Narrative Medicine. The Narrative Med MSc Program at Columbia counts close-reading as their “signature method.” I did close-reading once and it was lit; I recommend for anyone with an interest in reading, writing, or the humanities side of medicine (and anyone who wants to procrastinate for an hour or two ;)). Plus there will be Timbits involved. Please RSVP; see you there!
