Are you interested in learning about Settler and Indigenous relations through performance art? If so, MSW grad student, Carol Koscielny, invites you to a presentation of her thesis project. Carol’s 20-year social work career has been urban and rural based, as well as overseas and has included work in the fields of corrections, addictions, child welfare, and healthcare. Carol is part of the first cohort in the new Masters of Social Work based in Indigenous Knowledge through the University of Manitoba. The presentation includes Carol’s own (digital) story of settler history, spoken word, and post performance discussion. Please join her for an opportunity to consider our own Settler roles and relationships within a current context over FREE BANNOCK PIZZA!!
