Prepare yourself for an evening discussion about all things nutrition and fitness to cover a basic overview of everything you may need to know to advise patients in general weight loss principles. The hope is that students may leave knowing what it takes to get to help prevent the development of chronic conditions in vulnerable patient populations. There will be a 30-45 minute presentation covering basic principles about nutrition, exercise and supplementation by a leading fitness speaker in the Winnipeg area Jon Chong – MABBA lightweight bodybuilding champion currently pursuing his masters in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Manitoba, followed by some Q&A feel free to ask anything!!
