Reducing the Stigma: changing the language around addictions

Dr. Knight will be leading a discussion on the appropriate terminology to use as medical students and future professionals when working with patients who have addictions. This talk is geared to educate and bring awareness to how we can make adjustments to our use of language in order to help reduce the stigma that often surrounds addictions medicine.
