Sweat Lodge Ceremony

Sweat Lodge Ceremony on Sunday December 1, 2019 from 11:00 am-2:00pm with Elder Margaret Lavallee and Knowledge Keeper Leslie Spillett.

Tobacco, water and food will be provided.

Please bring towels, a change of clothes, and a blanket to sit on. If you identify as a woman, please wear a gown or a skirt that goes past your knees. If you identify as a man, please wear metal-free shorts, and refrain from only wearing underwear. If you identify as non-binary, feel free to wear what allows you to feel most comfortable.

Etiquette: Please abstain from consuming recreational drugs and/or alcohol 4 days prior to the ceremony. Women who are on their moon time (menstruating) are welcome to sit outside the sweat lodge, however they will be unable to enter the sweat. Due to heat, please remove all jewellery.
