Get hands on experience and learn how to suture from surgical residents!
Come practice your suturing skills with doctors to instruct you on proper technique! Students will be split into groups where they will be shown different suturing skills and techniques which they will then be able to practice.
Learning to perform the following skills with pediatric residents: -otoscopy -pediatric lumbar puncture -starting a pediatric IV -intubation
Some say ultrasound is the new stethoscope! Learn about their applications under the guidance of doctors from internal medicine!
Learn from residents how to suture, and get hands-on experience.
Learn techniques for examination of the shoulder, aortic stenosis, median nerve, and cirrhosis of the liver. This event will be held in the CLSF, beginning at 5:30, Food will be served at 5pm in the concourse outside of BMS 219-221
Dinner generously provided by the American College of Physicians Manitoba-Saskatchewan Chapter at 5 followed by different presentations of MI's using the Anterior STEMI SimMan & Angio/ECHO, Inferior STEMI SimMan & Angio/ECHO, EKG patterns (Brodie 000). Come practice your skills and learn...

IMIG will be hosting a Physical Exam Skills Night on Tuesday November 22nd, from 5:30-7:30 PM in the CLSF. Food will be served just outside of the CLSF at 5:00. The event is open to all Med Students.
