The following is taken from the CMA Website:
Members of the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) in Manitoba will be electing their nominee for the position of CMA President-Elect for 2017-18 early in the new year. The successful Manitoba nominee will be presented for election as CMA President-Elect at the CMA’s Annual Meeting and General Council, to be held in Quebec City, August 20 to 23, 2017. The CMA President-Elect will then become CMA President at the following Annual Meeting and General Council to be held in Winnipeg in August 2018.

Voting ballot package mailed: Thursday, January 26, 2017
Start of the voting period: Wednesday, February 1, 2017
Close of election: Wednesday, February 22, 2017, midnight (EST)
Nominee announcement
Ballots will be counted and the nominee will be declared on February 23, 2017. The nominee for President-Elect nominee elected by CMA members from Manitoba will be presented for election by delegates at the General Council of the CMA set for Aug 21-23, 2017 in Québec City, QC.
