The Ultrasound Interest Group aims to offer students opportunities for early exposure to ultrasound as an imaging modality, and to demonstrate the wide variety of uses of ultrasound as a clinical/diagnostic tool. With a focus on POCUS, we will host a variety of events that will provide ample time for hands-on practice. Become familiar with the different knobs, probes, and modes of different ultrasound machines. Learn and perform high-yield POCUS exams including the e-FAST scan, cardiac ultrasound and lung imaging.
