Provincial Lobby Day 2019

Every year a team of U of M medical students meet with various MLAs from the NDP, Conservative, and Liberal parties to discuss health issues that are important for the health of all Manitobans.

This year, they focussed on promoting Harm Reduction, a population health strategy that aims to ameliorate the harms associated with multiple human behaviours.

Although Provincial Lobby Day itself is only a day long, many students work hard all year round to collect research to support their cause.
