Benefits of Joining MMSA
As a medical student at the Max Rady College of Medicine, your MMSA membership fee is covered by a one-time payment at the beginning of first year. Membership with MMSA makes you eligible to apply for MMSA scholarships and Student Initiative Grants. Announcements about these are announced throughout the year.

Canadian Medical Association
The Canadian Medical Association (CMA) is the national advocacy group for physicians and medical students. Your membership provides valuable resources, professional development opportunities, and a strong voice in shaping healthcare policy. If you don’t know your CMA ID number, call 1-888-855-2555.
Canadian Federation of Medical Students
Your membership also includes the Canadian Federation of Medical Students (CFMS), the national organization dedicated to representing and advocating for medical students across Canada.
